Your Virtual Fall Color Tour: Even More Non-Real Estate Photos From Northwest Wisconsin

Here in northwest Wisconsin, our peak for fall colors was probably sometime late last week.  I managed to take a little time off, and headed out one morning on a quick tour of our northwest Wisconsin neighborhood.  For a real estate photographer, it was rather a busman’s holiday.  I’m afraid I did bring cameras, including a drone.  I mean, how could I not?

I might take a camera for a walk today, but then again I might not.  Today it’s in the mid-30s.  It’s dark, gloomy, windy, and alternating between snow and rain.  Except for the snow part, that’s about what the weather’s been like for most of the week.  So a lot of the leaves you’ll see in these photos  are now on the ground.  Tomorrow will be partly cloudy (which I prefer to think of as partly sunny), and I’ll be back out photographing another new listing.  For now, please scroll on down and take a moment to enjoy your virtual fall color tour.

Heron, Swans, and Deer (Non-Real Estate Photos From Somewhere in Northwest Wisconsin)

The other day I took the morning off and wandered around in the woods.  Although I wasn’t punched in at the office working on my usual real estate photos, I did bring a camera.  So here, just for fun, are photos of a heron, swans, and deer.  The final shot asks and answers that perennial question “Why did the deer cross the river?” The obvious answer: “To get to the other side.”

Fall Refresh for NW WI Lake Homes in Trego, Solon Springs, and Barnes

Last week I embarked on fall color tours through some of the most scenic corners of northwest Wisconsin.   Most of these tours were for fun.  But since I took drones and cameras along, I’m afraid they did turn into sort of a busman’s holiday.  I’ll share photos from those tours in upcoming blog posts.  The tour described in today’s post, however, was totally work-related.   Yup.  Real estate photography.  Summer is over, and it was time to give these four lake homes a fall refresh.   Two were in Solon Springs on Upper Saint Croix Lake.  A third was on Trego Lake, and the fourth was on Upper Eau Claire Lake in Barnes, WI.

Here’s a sampling of those fall updates.  I think they turned out pretty darn autumnal.  For more, just scroll on down.
