Lately I’ve been photographing spring updates for homes that first became available during the winter months.  Here in northwest Wisconsin, most lakes have only been ice-free since sometime late last week.  We’ve had a late spring, and now we’re going straight from winter to summer.  So the last week or so I’ve been busy trying to capture exteriors that include more of the color green.

It was especially gratifying to see the before-and-after transformation of this home near Solon Springs on Upper Saint Croix Lake.  Let’s just say there was a little too much white in the original photos.  I like these better.   When I arrived that day, the homeowner was just finishing up his spring yard work.  For someone from northwest Wisconsin, he seemed pretty handy with a zen garden rake.  For more, just scroll on down.
